The Short Stay Levy Bill 2024 introduced a 7.5 % levy from 1 January 2025 on short-stay accommodation bookings. The amount will be applied at checkout and removed manually for those operators that are exempt.
Carey Alpine Club
Overview
Carey Alpine Club is an all-season club with a lodge located at Parallel Street, Falls Creek, next to the Halley’s Comet chairlift. The Lodge is available to non-Members for the period of the 3 Peaks Challenge Event only. For all other times the Lodge is available to Members & their guests ONLY.
The Lodge can accommodate up to 30 people with two large en suite rooms (sleeps five), four small en suite rooms (sleeps three) and two bunk rooms (sleeps four).
The lodge is self-catering, guests bring their own food or shop at the village supermarket. A fully equipped kitchen, where fridge and cupboard space is allocated to each room, is available to prepare and cook meals.
A separate bar fridge is available for wine and beer etc. A coffee machine and pods are supplied, as are basics like sugar, salt & pepper etc.
Bed linen and towels are supplied.
